As part of their commitment to inclusive development, DIAGEO India and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) have partnered with the Skill Council for Persons with Disabilities (SCPwD) to implement a CSR initiative aimed at empowering Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) through skill development and employment.

Key Features of the Program:

  • Training Focus: The initiative provides residential training in Food & Beverage Services, interpersonal skills, employability, and communication.

  • Target Group: Over 175 PwD candidates, including individuals with visual, speech, and hearing impairments, are being trained under this program.

  • Training Locations: Conducted at Noida with certified trainers and assistive technologies such as sign language instructors.

  • Placement Support: Graduates are placed with leading hospitality brands such as Taj Hotels, Lemon Tree Hotels, Accor, Hilton, and La Pino’z Pizza, promoting workplace inclusion.

  • Program Impact: The initiative aligns with DIAGEO’s Society 2030: Spirit of Progress goals and IOCL’s CSR vision, creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for PwDs while fostering a more inclusive workforce.

This collaboration exemplifies how corporate CSR efforts, when aligned with national skilling frameworks like SCPwD, can create meaningful change and economic empowerment for marginalized communities.
